Il Miscelatore Termostatico Ivar è un componente in grado di mantenere costante, per mezzo di un elemento termostatico, il valore impostato della temperatura di erogazione dell'acqua a fronte di variazioni di pressione e/o di temperatura agli ingressi. Il suo impiego assume primaria importanza negli impianti di distribuzione di acqua calda sanitaria, nei quali si deve impedire che acqua a temperatura troppo elevata possa giungere ai terminali dell'impianto.
Garantisce il massimo comfort grazie ad una temperatura sempre costante; in caso di assenza di acqua fredda il dispositivo chiude automaticamente evitando scottature per chi lo utilizza. E' un prodotto consigliato in presenza di accumuli ACS dove l'acqua accumulata può subire shock termici per ciclo antilegionella.
Il Miscelatore Termostatico Ivar è un miscelatore sanitario regolabile; la temperatura può essere regolata mediante un'apposita manopola da 36 a 50°C; Il corpo è in ottone CW617N, nichelato solo esternamente; la molla in acciaio inossidabile, l'otturatore è in polieterimide più silicone ed il cappuccio/manopola di regolazione sono realizzati in ABS.
Ivar è una delle tre aziende al modo ad aver ricevuto il prestigioso marchio francese NF 8NF 079 doc. 08) dal laboratorio di certificazione CSTB per i miscelatori termostatici.
